Chaddar Trek

Chaddar Trek

The beautiful Zanskar River flows through the eternally gorgeous and stunning Leh at an altitude of 11,400 feet and remains frozen during December–February. The frozen river is depicted in Chadar, which translates to ‘Blanket’ in English, and is also known as ‘The Frozen River Trek.’ Unlike any other trip in India, this Himalayan trek does not have a fixed route or itching woods to struggle with, but it does provide you with the option to embark on an unforgettable trek through large mountains and intermittent slippery trails. You won’t be pitching your tents in dense forests or wild & thick grasslands, but rather just under the cover of unpredictable meteor showers.
